splendid downtown experience
great location free upgrade happy staff
the hotel offered a great location near transport. i really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour it was very cheerful. the staff are friendly and i did receive a free room upgrade to suite.
the bathtub wasn't too comfy because there isn't a handheld shower, only one fixed to the wall.

breakfast includes many choices such as yogurt and fresh fruit. the top-floor restaurant features wonderful views, with a nice backdrop for meals. also, the onion soup available in the evening is pretty special.

staff are available 24 hours at reception. they provided good service and are mostly friendly and cheerful. they was mostly accommodating to all my needs and requests .

the hotel includes a pool and a gym that opens from 5:00 am. there is a gorgeous library with lots of memorabilia related to the marine corps to look at. ice and water are available on each floor, it is so useful.

the location is super, a very short walk from public transport and local restaurants. the hotel provides easy access to different areas of the city, so convenient! pier 39 is within easy walking distance and is totally safe.

a mixed experience at this hotel
sticky carpet small bathroom
Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options.
the room felt dated. the carpet seemed unclean, even appearing sticky in some areas. i also found the bathroom quite small and not ventilated adequately.

Excellent stay!
helpful staff easy check-in central location
The staff assisted with luggage immediately upon arrival. Check-in was easy and efficient. The hotel displays a great tribute to the service. I found all staff professional. The location is near main attractions and that helped me to explore.
The bathroom in my room was quite small.

The hotel features washing and drying machine facilities for guest use. I saw ice and chilled water dispensers on several floors. Speedy lifts provided convenient access to all levels of the building (I was on the 7th floor).

The breakfast offered good options. I especially liked the availability of fresh fruit. Happy hour offers complimentary drinks in a comfortable lounge (I had a beer).

Acceptable stay with some drawbacks
ineffective air conditioning street noise
The room felt a bit stuffy. The air conditioning wasn't very effective, even on the highest setting. It was difficult to get the room to a comfortable temperature for sleeping. the noise from the street was pretty noticeable at night, disrupting my sleep. I could hear traffic and sirens quite clearly, even with the windows closed. This was pretty annoying.
